Holdrege Country Club

The Holdrege Country Club is a hidden gem! Golfers will be impressed with the quality and conditions of this course, which is kept pristine by a meticulous and hard-working grounds crew.

This 18-hole course is one of the finest in the state with two distinct styles. The front nine was built in 1929 and has established trees lining the fairways with water hazards coming into play on seven holes. Sand bunkers also provide challenges on the front nine.

The back nine was added in 1982 and was designed by Jeff Brauer. It features a links-type design with large greens and open fairways. Water comes in to play on two of the holes on the back nine.

The Holdrege Country Club hosts several golf tournaments throughout the season, including the popular Cattleman’s 4-person scramble in June and the 2-couple tournament in early August.

The clubhouse offers snacks, a limited meal menu, drinks and cocktails.

The course is located at 314 W. 18th Ave. on the north side of Holdrege on U.S. Highway 183. Tee times are not needed but please call ahead at (308) 995-5744 to ensure course availability.

For more information and clubhouse hours, visit the HCC website.
