You can help us attract people to Phelps County!

If your organization is hosting an event intended to attract visitors from outside the area, the Phelps County Visitors Committee offers grants for 50 percent of advertising and promotional expenses up to $1,500 for audiences of over 500 people, and up to $500 for audiences of less than 500 people. Promotion Grants will be considered monthly. Please complete grant application at least 45 days in advance to ensure timely approval in time for the event.

The Improvement Grant will provide funding for expanding and improving facilities at any existing visitor attraction (must be a non-profit organization or owned by the public). The PCVC will offer a 50 percent match up to $7.500 to qualifying organizations. Improvement grant applications will be considered twice a year and are due Jan. 1 and July 1.

Organizations planning events or improvements that bring overnight visitors to stay in Phelps County hotels will be given priority.

To apply, fill out the appropriate Grant Application form completely (the forms are fillable PDFs) and mail or email it to the Phelps County Visitors Committee.
